Jacqueline Ruck


Jacqueline Ruck is a partner at Harbinger Law focusing on mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, corporate governance, charity law, and assisting clients navigating day-to-day corporate needs. She was recognized as one of "The Best Lawyers in Canada" for mergers and acquisitions (2025).

Jacqueline obtained a certificate of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University in 2023. She prepares diversity policies for organizations looking to align values with governance. Jacqueline also assists clients with implementing these policies effectively and meaningfully. Jacqueline is committed to mentorship and has served as a mentor to law students through the Dalhousie Feminist Legal Association. She also enjoys presenting on various topics to diverse audiences including law students, business owners, and lawyers.

Jacqueline received her law degree from the University of Ottawa and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2014. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Honours, from the Faculty of Political Science, Public Affairs and Management at Carleton University. She practiced corporate law at a leading regional law firm for almost a decade before joining the Harbinger Law team in 2023.
